AIC Visser Assen was created by the merger of AIC and Visser Assen. This merger was a strategic move to grow into the largest total supplier in the Netherlands in the field of infra equipment, building site equipment and road marking (B2B and B2C). Ultimately, the organization wants to expand internationally through a buy-and-build strategy.
As with many mergers, this one brought with it a digital transformation issue, namely: integrating the two original IT landscapes into a new, unified IT proposition.
While redesigning its IT landscape, AIC Visser Assen encountered several challenges:

Together with AIC Visser Assen, we started an iPaaS Strategy Blueprint project as an expert. In this we investigated the differences between an IT landscape without iPaaS (with point-to-point integrations) and an IT landscape with iPaaS.
