Bossard is always looking for the best fitting connection. So this also applies to the connection between supplier and customer. But how do you ensure the right connection? See, that's where we can help! Bossard buys (most of their) products and also carries two of their own brands and they produce customized products and specials.

It is notable that all this product information was maintained only in their ERP system. This was mainly done by one person. Besides being quite cumbersome, this is also difficult to explain to others. An easily manageable product information system (PIM) offers the solution here.

With an assortment of over 100,000 products, of which more than 35,000 are delivered directly from stock, it is crucial to display accurate product information and have access to as much data as possible.

Bossard has a wide range of clients. Some clients have their own specials that they purchase. Other clients purchase only custom products. But there are also plenty of clients who only purchase standard products, but sometimes these are their own products and other times products from external suppliers.

So all in all, a huge variety of buyers. Therefore, a simple webshop is not sufficient here. The idea of a personal customer portal, where all customers have their own login, with their own options, was soon born. In addition, a product comparator was built in. This allows Bossard's customers to choose the right product from the huge range of products more quickly and easily.

The assortment of over 100,000 products obviously does not come from just one brand. But Bossard naturally wants to display all products in the same way, with the same data. This is only possible when all products are fed from one source. Thanks to the PIM system, Bossard is in control of what they want to make visible to their buyers.

Linking with the ERP system and the online customer portal gives Bossard all the options they want. So they themselves are always in control of what is visible within their portal.
